Concours jeu vidéo Manumed 

Dans le cadre de ses activités, le projet Manumed lance un appel à propositions de scénario et d'énigmes, à destination d'un jeune public, pour la création d'un jeu vidéo. Ce jeu aura pour cadre le monde mystérieux des livres et des bibliothèques.

Au terme de ce concours, l'ambition du projet est de réaliser un jeu vidéo à la fois ludique et éducatif afin de sensibiliser le jeune public sur les enjeux liés à l'univers des bibliothèques et de favoriser la compréhension des écritures méditerranéennes notamment concernant leurs histoires communes.

Les modalités de participation sont disponibles sur le site Manumed, rubrique « règlement concours ». Nous invitons tous les jeunes intéressés à participer au concours en renseignant le bulletin de participation prévu sur www.manumed.org ou par courrier à l'adresse :

Parrainer un manuscrit

Le projet Manumed donne la possibilité à chaque citoyen issu de pays européens ou méditerranéens de parrainer la conservation d'un manuscrit et de pouvoir ainsi soutenir un projet de restauration, de conditionnement, de numérisation ou participer à une action collective.

Toute personne intéressée peut également proposer le parrainage d'un manuscrit pour un projet de restauration (ou autres). Il suffit pour cela de nous contacter. Les projets retenus feront l'objet d'une campagne de communication afin de promouvoir leurs parrainages.

La plateforme de documents Manumed

La base de données du projet Manumed propose à ce jour un corpus de documents (manuscrits, imprimés, vidéos, émissions de radio...) composés de 255 635 fichiers numériques et 13 373 notices descriptives.

De nouvelles fonctions seront disponibles à partir du 17 mai 2010 comme notamment la possibilité d'effectuer des recherches par mots clés directement dans le contenu des documents écrits (technologie OCR).

Nous vous invitons à venir découvrir les derniers documents intégrés dans la plateforme comme les manuscrits provenant de la bibliothèque de manuscrits Lmuhub Ulahbib (Bejaïa, ALGERIA), fonds de manuscrits arabes et berbères notamment sur les sciences et les mathématiques.

يقدم مشروع مانوميد لكل فرد من مواطني دول أوربا والبحر المتوسط فرصة رعاية مشروع الحفاظ على مخطوط؛ أي دعم مشروع ترميم أو حفظ أو رقمنة، أو المشاركة في عمل جماعي.
ويستطيع أي شخص مهتم بهذا الموضوع أن يقترح رعاية مخطوط لترميمه (أو لمشاريع أخرى مشابهة)، وليس عليه إلا أن يتصل بنا. والمشاريع التي تتم الموافقة عليها سيتم الدعاية لها للحصول على رُعاة.

Manumed video game competition

As part of its operations, the Manumed project is launching a call for proposals for game play and riddles, aimed at a young audience, for the purposes of creating a video game to be set in the mysterious world of books and libraries.

At the end of this competition, the aim of the project will be to produce a video game which is both fun and educational in order to raise awareness among young audiences of issues related to the world of libraries and improve their understanding of Mediterranean scriptures, particularly with regards to their shared histories.

Terms of participation are available in the ‘competition rules' section of the Manumed website. We would ask that any young people interested participate in the competition by registering using the entry form provided at www.manumed.org or by writing to the following address:

Adopt a manuscript

The Manumed project gives all citizens of European and Mediterranean countries the opportunity to sponsor the preservation of a manuscript and therefore to be able to support a restoration, conditioning or digitisation project or get involved in collective initiatives.

Anyone interested in such activities may also suggest the sponsoring of a manuscript for a restoration project (or other such initiatives). Please contact us should you wish to do so. Selected projects will be the subject of a communication campaign aimed at promoting the sponsorship of the project in question.

The Manumed document platform

The Manumed project database currently consists of a body of documentation (manuscripts, prints, videos, radio broadcasts, etc.) including 255,635 digital files and 13,373 descriptive summaries.

New functions will be available as of 17th May 2010 which will notably include the option of performing direct searches of the content of written documents using keywords (OCR technology).

Why not come and discover the latest documents to be included in the platform, which notably include manuscripts from the Lmuhub Ulahbib manuscript library (Bejaïa, Algeria) and Arabic and Berber manuscript content notably relating to the sciences and mathematics.
